SEL Member Requirements
Attendance 1x a month at one SEL meeting or event (after 2 months of absence we check in, and after 3 months you are removed from Slack).
Engage with a local lawmaker 1 time per semester.
Write an article (650+ words) on a topic that you’re passionate about related to the SEL’s mission for the Society Stories platform.
Conduct at least 5 power analyses which can be federal, state (senator + assembly member), or local (county, city).
Recruit at least 1 person/semester.
Raise at least $100 for Lights of Hope (to cover the costs of how much it takes to support annual SEL membership).
